OverviewThe benefits of high quality Conveyor belt splices are apparent to any conveyor belt user; there is a wide range of splicing methods available today from a number of companies, all of which offer varying degrees of quality. Billion’s splicing division makes use of only top quality products and has a combined total of almost 50 years experience in the splicing industry. The manager of Billion did splicing for a number of years before exchanging it for the Scraper industry. When the scraper business started to flourish, Boeta Opperman decided to start the “Billion Splicing division” again. Our customers can expect the same quality service that they became accustomed to while dealing with us in the scraper industry. Services Offered:Splicing:We make use of Rema Tip-Top’s SC2000 Glue and Hardener in order to supply our customers with the highest possible quality splice. We can splice any size ply belt with the same efficiency that our customers became used to. Pulley lagging:Lagging can be obtained in both normal and flame retardant, depending on the application and location of the pulley. The lagging is also done with the same high quality SC2000 glue and hardener. Belting:Conveyor belting can be obtained from us. We supply both new and second hand belting in all the major sizes. Sizing and installation:We are able to resize any ply belting to the size required by the customer and our installation rates for belting is well below market average. Click here
